Genevieve “Vie Vie” Blanchard is excited to be bringing the title of Miss Texas Junior High Rodeo Association to her hometown of Celina, Texas.

Vie Vie competed at the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association Princess Pageant in Gonzalez, Texas, on Saturday, May 25, 2019, and won the categories of Miss Congeniality, Impromptu Question, Personality, Appearance, Modeling and Two-Minute Speech and was named 2019 Miss TJHRA on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Coronation.

Vie Vie just completed 8th grade at Celina Junior High and will start Celina High School as a freshman this fall. Vie Vie is passionate about her sport of rodeo and says “I can’t wait to travel the entire state of Texas and serve as an ambassador for rodeo and western heritage.”

Vie Vie was also one of the top 10 finalists in her home region, TJHRA Region IV, located in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and qualified to compete in barrel racing and ribbon running at her TJHRA State Finals in Gonzalez, Texas, this week. Vie Vie won a scholarship, saddle, and many other awards. As Miss TJHRA she will also be a student officer of the organization.
